DESCRIPTION:The Western Harbour Tunnel will deliver a new crossing of Sydne
 y Harbour and creates a western bypass of the Sydney CBD. The project incl
 udes upgrading four kilometres of one of Australia’s busiest roads\, the W
 arringah Freeway. This will address congestion\, improve safety and provid
 e more choice for how to move around Sydney.\n \nThis talk will explain\n
 \n·       The high level plan for the project including the environmental 
 considerations\, and\n·        The status of the project\n\n \nTim Kwok is
  the Senior Community and Stakeholder Engagement Manager\, Transport for N
 SW.  He has over 15 years of experience in marketing and communications\, 
 specialising in communications on major infrastructure projects such as We
 stConnex and Western Harbour Tunnel and Beaches Link. Tim has expertise in
  proactively identifying potential issues within the community and deliver
 ing effective solutions to mitigate them.\n \n \nMarcus Hall is a Communit
 y and Stakeholder Engagement Officer\, Transport for NSW.  He first entere
 d the public sector by participating in the NSW Government Graduate Progra
 m\, which involved placements at Roads and Maritime Services\, Transport f
 or NSW and the Department of Premier and Cabinet. He is passionate about t
 he role communications and community engagement play in promoting understa
 nding\, improving decision-making and delivering benefits for the people o
