Last Tuesday we had visiting Rotarian’s from near and far join us for our breakfast meeting.  Mike Cates is a member of Santa Monica Rotary Club, Cal. and was visiting his daughter who resides in Sydney. AG Ward Pollard, a member of Mosman Rotary Club and Ian Pocock from Crows Nest Rotary also attended.

Our speaker, Vanessa Murphy, informed us of the great work being done at the Royal North Shore Hospital School. Despite some of us initially believing this facility was for medical teaching we were delighted to find that Vanessa and her team provide continuity of education for students from Kindergarten to Year 12 who are patients at RNS Hospital.

Our club has registered a site in Waverton for Clean Up Australia Day on Sunday, 3 March and I will report on our efforts in the next bulletin.

On Tuesday, 5 March we will be holding an open discussion on the future projects of our club and beneficiaries for the funds raised.
