We are welcoming new members all the time. We come from all walks of life, all with a common goal - service through fellowship.

We raise funds through an annual World Festival of Magic event, Bunnings BBQs and other activities to support a range of causes aligned with Rotary’s objectives. In recent years, our efforts have assisted the following undertakings, among many others:

+ Australian Rotary Health Research Foundation   + Crows Nest Community Centre   + Greenwich & Waverton Community Hubs   + Hands Across the Water, Thailand   + Help Orphans Now, Sri Lanka   + Highlands School, Mittagong   + Jane Kennedy’s A Girl in Her World, Fiji   + Mary’s House, North Sydney   + MacKillop Today’s Indigenous Scholarship Fund, North Sydney   + National Youth Science Forum, Canberra  + Nusa Tenggara Association, Eastern Indonesia   + Rotary’s Polio Eradication Campaign   + Talamunde youth refuge, North Shore   + YourSide Young Carers’ Program, Chatswood   + Rotary Youth Leadership Awards, Sydney

While continuing to support a diverse range of projects, our plans usually focus on a few.

Royal Far West Children’s Health Scheme, Manly

The Royal Far West charitable organisation was founded in 1924 and has been a constant source of support for rural and remote children across Australia. Programs based in Manly include video links for specialist care; assessments and early interventions for the disabled; and camps for socially isolated children.

Stuart Town Public School ‘Books in Homes’, rural NSW

Once again this year, we visited Stuart Town near Molong in Rural NSW continuing our support for the end of term ‘Books in Homes’ presentation. It has been a great project, with mothers telling us that this program has demonstrably improved NAPLAN reading scores!

A music festival for school children on Semau Island in the Timor Sea, Eastern Indonesia

Capitalizing on benefits arising from our recently completed ‘Living Fences’ project, we continue to provide assistance through the Nusa Tenggara Association for an annual children’s festival of traditional music and dance and associated teacher training.
